Our Projects
The following are projects that we are working currently on.
Step 1 - Application submission
Our Partner NGO or one of our champions submit the request in coordination with the recipient providing complete details on family background and how they plan to use the support provided as a catalyst to propel their lives.
Step 2 - Review of application
by theRAK.org program administration team reviews the application and approves or rejects the request
Step 3 - An agreement is prepared
theRAK.org team provides financial support per agreement conditions, this agreement is also endorsed by our partner NGO representative

Players
The following is a brief description of various players involved.
Donors
Donors could be individuals, families, institutions or companies. Could make ad-hoc/ one time / monthly / yearly donations to a specified cause. We publish all donations received by us in our website. We provide donors ability to track their donation. This helps donors to understand and appreciate how their donations changed someone's life. Recipients
Recipients are identified using an implementation NGO partner or a champion who personally validates the credentials of a recipient. Recipients are monitored either by champions or by a partner NGO and periodic assessments of progress is monitored, recorded and reported.
Champions
Champions are individuals or organizations who have volunteered to put their time and effort to raise funds or identifying and or validating deserving recipeints. Each Champion is identified / selected / accepted after a discussion.
Partner Organizations
Partner Organizations are NGO's, Social Ventures, Not for Profit organizations who have a working relationship with theRAK.org trust. Each partner organization is identified / selected / accepted after a discussion and understanding of their organization history, reviewing their track record including financials if needed.
Team
theRak.org team is a flat organization of 100 % volunteers, we call them champions, the only work for which we pay is, to our auditors, to validate our financials and for fund raising activities.

Why give through theRAK.org
theRAK.org is a trustworthy giving platform for donors. On our platform, you can donate to a recipient with confidence. We partner with NGO's who are successful and efficient, our partner NGO's conduct robust due diligence on each beneficiary, including in-person visits to beneficiaries and actual feedback reports. We do all this so that our donors can donate with confidence.

Can i see how my donation helped someone with a need
Through our website theRAK.org, we provide our donors the ability to track their donation to the last rupee they have donated, please contact a tech champion to know how.

Could I donate in any other currency apart from Indian Rupee
Currently we accept donations only in INR from bank accounts in India. We will be FCRA certified during the year 2023, post the certification we are eligible to receive donations in non INR currency.

What are the modes one can donate to theRAK.org?
Currently, a donor can transfer money in Indian rupees from their account in any of the banks operating in India, donors could also transfer using gPay, payTM.

Can a donor donate without revealing their identity?
We accept donations only from donors who reveal their identity to us, whether their name needs to be published to the beneficiary or in our website is totally upto the donor's preference.
